Meeting Minutes/Notes

Team Members:

 ADD NAME, YEAR, MAJOR, AND WORK EXPERIENCE
  Kevin Cossel - Soph/Ch, Worked spring term and general shop work
  Nathan Donnellan - Fresh/ME, very basic shop experience, woodwork, car repair

Administrative:

  New Meeting time: Tuesday 12-1 (tentative)
  GET KEY FROM DIMITY NELSON (2ND FLOOR GUGGENHEIM) - $25 
  Fill out skill survey and return by Monday
  Create a bugzilla account and look at projects
  Look at vehicle specs on Wiki (main points listed below)
      - External generator not going to be used
      - Backup UPS, gel cells, standard battery
      - New computing hardware
      - Stock A/C
      - Driver and 2 passengers
      - Human controlable
      - handicap vehicle actuation
      - actuation should be a rapid as human control
      - modular cable design, components easily mounted
      - offroad capable suspension

Shop Tour:

  The north part of the lab is aero departments- do not use this space
  Replace all tools where they came from
  Keep storage room door closed when not in use
  Keep workspaces clean

Update on new vehicle:

  Still no progress
  Ford dealer is asking Ford motor company - not likely
  Use Bob? - not a good option
  Buy vehicle - $20-$40K budget ? - COMMENT AT DISCUSSION ON PHPBB
  Vehicle show - Saturday 1000-1300 - leave from shop at 930
